Holly Willoughby is in labour with her second child - a month early.
Phillip Schofield tweeted: 'Latest news is that @hollywills is in labour.'
Her This Morning co-host had delivered some confusing news to the show's viewers earlier:
'The first thing this morning I got a phone call from Holly saying that she thought she might be in labour, and as the morning has progressed - not entirely sure - so as it stands at the moment, Holly may or may not be in labour. But best not here, we thought.'
But a couple of hours afterwards he tweeted the exciting news.
Earlier her agent did nothing to solve the mystery, issuing a statement saying:
'She's absolutely fine. She thought she was in labour this morning and the hospital are still doing tests so we are waiting to hear.'
Holly and husband Dan are expecting a little girl - although not officially until next month. She was due to start her maternity leave from This Morning on Thursday - but it sounds like her daughter is making an early appearance?
