When you think of royal wedding memorabilia, commemorative mugs, biscuit tins and keyrings come to mind. However, Smythson of Bond Street have turned tacky into tasteful with their own artistic tribute to the wedding and all things British.
Smythson have collaborated with Sotheby's curator of craft and design, Janice Blackburn, to commission a series of unique, hand crafted pieces to serve as mementos of the day.
The exhibition will open on 19 April until 3 May at Smythson's Bond Street store and those seeking their own piece of royal wedding memorabilia will be pleased to know that all items will be for sale. Start clearing a space on your mantlepiece now.
