London Hotels Go Crazy For The Royal Wedding

If you're not planning on a royal wedding escape, some of London's best hotels are encouraging guests to celebrate the big day with champagne, afternoon tea and a bit of everything British.

A stay at the newly opened Zetter Townhouse in London's East End is a good port of call for those feeling particularly patriotic. Only a few of the 13 rooms are still available for 29 April but the Union Jack inspired bedroom is certainly the most apt for the occasion.

Over in the other end of town, The May Fair Hotel is celebrating in style. Make the most of the long weekend with the hotel's special offer that includes a full English breakfast, a royal afternoon tea and champagne to toast the newlyweds. The extravagant alternative is the Azure and Sapphire package and believe it or not, the three-night stay in the signature Azure suite comes with a sapphire engagement ring! To prove that we're not joking, or maybe you're planning on an impressive proposal, take a look at The May Fair's special offer for yourself.

Finally, if you want to combine your royal wedding experience with a spot of fine dining, the Malmaison London is screening the event while serving up wedding themed afternoon tea and lunch. The hotel is also offering a two course dinner, champagne and coffee for £175 per night. Sounds like a good deal if you plan on settling in.
