Prince William Drives His Bride Back To Clarence House

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge made sure they left their lunchtime reception at Buckingham Palace in style.

Prince William broke with tradition by taking the driving seat on the journey back to Clarence House. He drove his father's convertible Aston Martin DB6, complete with an 'L' plate, ribbons, balloons and a 'just wed' number plate.

The couple looked ever so happy as they greeted the crowds outside the palace. They were accompanied by a Search and Rescue helicopter in a special fly past.

Now it's time for the newlyweds to let their hair down at their party this evening. If only we were a fly on the wall...
