Mariah Carey has FINALLY given birth to her twins!
Ending what was looking to be the longest showbiz gestation ever, Mariah and her husband Nick Cannon welcomed their as yet unnamed son and daughter into the world today - coincidentally their third wedding anniversary. The babies were born at an undisclosed Los Angeles hospital.
Miss Carey's representative, Cindi Berger, said Mariah, 41, delivered her daughter first, who weighed 5lbs 3oz and was 18 inches long, and then her son, who weighed in at 5lbs 6oz, and was 19 inches long.
Miss Berger added that Mariah had arrived at the hospital thinking it was another false alarm, but remained calm as her labour took hold. The proud new mum and dad were said to have listened to Mariah's We Belong Together track after the children were born.
The couple are planning to renew their wedding vows next Sunday - or should that be WERE planning to? We kinda think they're going to have their hands rather full in the coming weeks...
