We're so used to seeing Katy Perry in ultra clingy, ultra flammable, ultra impractical outfits that we've started to suspect she may be a major shareholder when it comes to the global latex industry so it was with surprise that we happened upon this pic of K Pez (as she will probably never be known) just before her New Zealand gig on Sunday.
The singer donned a loose fitting striped top, slouchy grey hat and oodles of safety harnessing for a bungee jump from the 142 foot Auckland Harbour Bridge - the perfect adrenaline shot to prepare for her evening concert.
Katy was accompanied on the jump by 19-year-old fan Marinol Nuval who was chosen from the audience at a previous concert on the California Dreams tour.
Tweeting a picture from the jump, Katy seemed excited rather than terrified: "PRE SHOW BUNGY [sic] JUMP IN NEW ZEALAND! PPPSHAAAH!"
