The rector initially looks furious as music blares out through the school canteen. The kids look bemused. Then it begins.

To the strains of the Village People's YMCA, Rector Philip Black, head of Bell Baxter High School in Fife, Scotland, wrenches off his jacket and launches into the song's camp dance routine along with other members of the teaching staff.

The 'flashmob' was organised as a send-off surprise for the Year 11 pupils. Rector Black and co grooved their way through the Macarena, The Time Warp and Thriller to the delight of the students.

The stunned kids put the clip on You Tube, where Rector Black was described as 'awesome' and a 'legend'.

What do you think? Funniest dad-dancing ever? Or should teachers - and a RECTOR no less - have a bit more decorum?
