MyDaily – Celebrating Amazing Women
By submitting your entry for the Amazing Women campaign (the "Promotion"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions:
1. (a) Subject to clause 2(b), entry to this Promotion and eligibility to win the Competition (defined below) is open to all UK residents (excluding Northern Ireland) aged 18 years or over. . (b) Employees (and their families) of any affiliates or subsidiary companies, as well as representatives or agents of AOL (UK) Limited (the "Promoter") and anyone else who may be involved or connected with the Amazing Women promotion may submit entries to the Promotion but will not be eligible to win the Competition. Any entries submitted by agents or third parties will be invalid and will not be accepted by the Promoter.
Entries
2. To enter you must nominate an amazing woman ("Nominee") and complete all required fields on the nomination entry form (including a 1000 character limit original report of why your nominated woman is amazing) found at: [http://amazingwomen.mydaily.co.uk/], and submit your nomination by clicking on the relevant button (the "Entry"). Your Entry must satisfy certain minimum editorial standards in accordance with clause 9 below.
3. You may enter as many times as you wish provided that each Entry nominates a different woman.
4. Each Entry you submit will be eligible for voting and the Competition, subject to these Terms and Conditions. If neither you nor your Nominee wish to be eligible for the Competition or you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions, please do not submit your Entry.
5. Excluding any celebrity Nominees (which may be determined by the Promoter in its sole discretion), by providing the name, photo and email address of your Nominee in the Entry form, you confirm that you have the Nominee's consent to nominate them for the Promotion, enter them into the Competition and to provide their name, email address and likeness (in your photograph) to us. Your Nominee will then receive an email to inform them that they have been nominated and to invite them to preview your Entry (the "Nominee Confirmation Email"). Your Nominee will be informed upon receipt of this Nominee Confirmation Email that you gave us their details with their agreement. Any Nominee email addresses, will only be used to send the Nominee Confirmation Email and to inform the Nominee directly, if the Entry is a winning entry in the Competition.
6. Once your Entry has been submitted you will receive an email 48 hours after the submission confirming the nomination is live on the MyDaily.co.uk website (the "Site") and ready for voting.
7. If a Nominee is entered more than once, the Entry received first will be submitted into the Promotion provided it satisfies these Terms and Conditions. Entries for Nominees already submitted will not be accepted.
8. The Promoter reserves the right not to publish or accept any Entry submitted with incomplete information, or found to contain invalid, inappropriate or offensive information, as determined by the Promoter in its sole discretion. Further the Promoter reserves the right to remove any Entry at any time from the Promotion for any reason.
Photographs
9. Any photographs submitted as part of your nomination must be (a) in a JPEG/GIF format and the maximum size is 2MB and (b) comply with these Terms and Conditions (the "Photographs").
10. If your Nominee is a celebrity, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion to substitute the Photograph submitted with your Entry with another photograph.
11. By submitting a Photograph with your Entry to the Promotion, you confirm that: (a) either the Photograph has been taken by you or if it was taken by a third party, you have the consent of that third party to submit the Photograph in question to the Promotion; (b) the Nominee or any persons appearing in the Photograph have given their formal consent for the Photograph to be submitted to the Promoter and (c) if any children appear in the Photograph and you are not the legal parent/guardian of the children in the Photograph, that you have their formal consent for the Photograph to be featured by the Promoter.
12. Upon your submission of the Photograph and Entry to the Promotion, you hereby grant to the Promoter, its parent, subsidiaries, affiliated companies and licensees a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, irrevocable, non-exclusive, sub-licensable right to use, modify, distribute, edit, communicate to the public and otherwise exploit the Entry and/or the Photographs in any and all media as the Promoter, in its sole discretion, sees fit and without any compensation to you.
13. You irrevocably and unconditionally waive in favour of the Promoter, its affiliates and licensees, assigns and successors in title, all moral rights in the Entry and/or Photograph to which you have, or may at any time in the future be entitled.
14. Further, you represent and warrant that (a) you are the only creator, author and owner of the Entry and/or Photograph or, if you are not the owner, you have received written consent from the owner to submit the Entry and/or Photograph; (b) the use of the Entry by the Promoter and/or any other sub-licencee will not infringe any intellectual property or other rights of any third party (for example trade marks, copyright, privacy rights etc); (c) the Entry does not contain anything that is defamatory, offensive or illegal and (d) you hereby indemnify the Promoter fully and effectively, and will hold the Promoter harmless, from and against any third party claim arising from the use of the Entry and/or Photograph.
Competition
15. MyDaily and AOL users will be invited each day to vote for the Entry they find most 'amazing' via the Site.
16. Your Entry will only be available for voting for 7 days from the date which it is 'live' on the Site. The voting poll on your Entry will close exactly 7 days after which your Entry went live.
17. Prizes: There will be one winning Entry for each working day (Monday to Friday) of the Promotion (each a "Daily Winner").Each Daily Winner will win two MyDaily goody bags one each for you and your Nominee. The goody bag will consist of a variety of beauty products, Laura Ashley gift and other great MyDaily goodies from our favourite partners.
18. In addition, the Nominees of each winning Entry ("Nominee Winner") will win 1 x pair of tickets to a live event with Dannii Minogue (the "Event"). The Event date is unknown at the time of the Promotion going live, however Nominee Winners will be given a minimum of two weeks' notice prior to the Event. The Event will take place in a London location. Any required travel or hotel expenses will not be provided and time may be required off work in order to travel to and attend the Event. No alternative prizes or money will be offered if a Nominee Winner is unable to make the Event for any reason. The Nominee Winner will be notified of all details of the Event when they are notified as a winner. In the event AOL is unable to contact a Nominee Winner or a Nominee Winner is for any reason unable to accept the tickets to the Event, AOL reserves the right to choose another Entry and award the tickets to the Nominee of that Entry.
19. The Daily Winner will be the Entry with the most votes at the end of each day (Monday to Friday throughout the Promotion period), save that any Entry shall only be eligible to win once during the Competition. The votes will be counted each day (Monday to Friday) at 15.00. The highest number of votes for an Entry will be that day's Daily Winner.
20. All Daily Winners and Nominee Winners (collectively, "Winners") from each week will be announced on the Friday at the end of that week. For example, all Winners from the 10th, 11th, 12th and 13th May will be announced on the 13th May. Thereafter the Winners will be announced every Friday after 15.00 until the Closing Date.
21. The Promotion commences at 00:01 on 10th May 2011 ("Start Date") and no Entries will be accepted after 00:00 on Friday 24th June ("Closing Date") (being the "Promotion Period"). The final voting day of the promotion is 1st July 2011. The Daily Winners from the week commencing 27th June will be announced in the week commencing 4th July. For the avoidance of doubt, this means that entries must have been received by the Promoter by the close of the Promotion Period in order to meet the Closing Date validity requirements.
22. Winners will be notified within 5 days of the vote count, by email to the email addresses supplied on the Entry form. Goody bag prizes will be delivered within approximately 30 days of the Closing Date.
23. The Promoter will use reasonable endeavours to contact all Winners using the contact details supplied upon Entry to the Promotion. If a winner does not respond within 1 calendar month of the first notification, then the Winner forfeits the right to claim the Prize and the Promoter may in its sole discretion offer the prize to the next Entry with the highest number of votes for the day in which your Entry was the Daily Winner.
24. The Prizes must be taken as offered. No cash equivalent or other alternative prize are available in whole or in part except as provided for in these terms and conditions.
25. The Prize is non-transferable and where Prize(s) consist of tickets to events, all such tickets are non-refundable. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute a Prize of an equivalent value should the Prize become unavailable for any reason. If AOL is unable to contact any Winner or any Winner is not able for whatever reason to accept the Prize, then the Promoter reserves the right to award the Prize to another participant.
26. If there are reasonable grounds to believe that there has been a breach of these Terms and Conditions by you , then the Promoter may, in its sole discretion invalidate your Entry and disqualify you and your Entry from the Promotion, irrespective of the stage in the Promotion reached.
27. The Promoter may at any time, for any reason and without notice nor liability, cancel, suspend or discontinue the Promotion or any part of it.
28. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or corruption to any Entries submitted. Further the Promoter does not guarantee the Entry page or the Site or the voting shall function correctly. The Promoter shall not be liable for without limitation; any technical failures, computer virus, network failure, tampering, fraud or cause beyond AOL's control which corrupts or affects the availability of the Entry form, voting functions or the Site at any time during the Promotion.
29. The Promoter does not accept any liability for any loss, expense or damage which is suffered or sustained by you or your Nominee in connection with this Promotion. Nothing in these terms and conditions attempts to exclude the Promoter's liability for personal injury or death.
30. The Winners names and locations can be obtained by sending a SAE to the Promoter after 1st June 2011.
31. The Winner(s) agree to participate in any publicity or other such promotional activities which the Promoter may reasonably require in connection with the Prize Promotion and the Promoter shall have the right to use each Winner's name, likeness, image, voice and biographical information for advertising and promotional purposes in connection with the prize promotion in all media without further notice and without the need to make any payment to any winner for such use.
32. The decision of the Promoter is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the outcome of the Promotion or Competition.
33. No purchase is necessary to enter this Promotion and Competition.
34. For every nomination Entry published by the Promoter and every vote received, the Promoter will make a donation to the charity 'CoppaFeel!' For every Entry made the Promoter will donate £1.00 and for each vote received via the Site, the Promoter will donate £0.20. Donations will be made to a total value of £20,000.00.

36. Please note you may vote as many times as you like but you can only vote once for each nominee. AOL reserves the right to disregard any votes in the event there is suspicious voting behaviour.
