There were no soft edges on the ensemble Lady Gaga wore while performing at the Good Morning America concert series in New York's Central Park yesterday.

The superstar changed her costume several times during the show, though this prickly black concoction was without doubt the most outlandish.

Her patent leather coat sported rows of mean looking spikes that were mirrored by her pointed black booties and claw-like nails. We love her monochrome Lily Munster-inspired hair, theatrical make-up and embellished tights too.

For the concert, Gaga arrived on an aerial line while singing her hit 'Bad romance'. She took to the stage a second time to belt out 'Hair' – a song from her new, chart-topping album Born this way.
