It may be out of character for her to wear such a demure ensemble, but we can't say we don't like it. The star, who was making her first public appearance with new fiancé NBA star Kris Humphries at a charity fashion event in Monaco, was the latest in a long line of women opting for an elegant white gown following the Royal wedding.
The halter neckline on Kim's dress was not dissimilar to the Tom Ford number worn by First Lady Michelle Obama at a recent state function at Buckingham Palace. Kim, however, opted to wear her hair loose and her make up simple for the occasion. Perhaps her low-key look was to keep the focus on her engagement ring? And at a reported 20.5 carats costing more than US$2m, who could blame her?
