Katie Holmes and her adorable daughter Suri Cruise were snapped enjoying some mother-daughter time on the beach over the weekend - but we're not sure their choice of footwear was entirely seaside suitable...
The pair were snapped enjoying the sunshine on the beach in Malibu, sinking into the sand in their matching kitten heels.
With Suri renowned for her, sometimes controversial, penchant for a mini-heel, it perhaps comes as little surprise to see the five-year-old skipping along in her ballroom dancing shoes.
Mum, meanwhile, showed off her toned pins in a pair of super-short denim cut-offs, teamed with a plain white tee, casual jacket and straw trilby.
There's no denying they look like the picture-perfect mother-daughter duo - but as for the shoes? We'll give them the benefit of the doubt and suggest that it was perhaps a spontaneous seaside visit...
