Myleene Klass: Why I've Gone Back To Work 10 Weeks After Hero's Birth

PA

New mum Myleene Klass has spoken out about her decision to return to her TV presenting work just 10 weeks after welcoming her new baby, Hero.

The Popstar to Operastar presenter famously went back to her radio show 10 days after welcoming her first daughter, Ava, now three, and now has done the same, stepping back into work just 10 weeks after welcoming her new arrival, Hero.

She says fear of being left behind in showbusiness prompted her to rush back to the day job.

'Whether it was six months or six weeks, it was never going to be easy,' Myleene told the Daily Mail.

'My fiancé Gray is always saying, 'You need to go easy on yourself.' Last week, I had terrible mastitis and Gray tried to get me to relax. But I'm petrified showbusiness will leave me behind, as it has before.

'I thought my career was over at 25, but I firmly believe if you work hard enough you'll get there in the end.'

Seriously though, 10 weeks? That's not a lot of time for a bit of post-birth R&R.
