Peter Andre - who recently joined Mayor of London Boris Johnson to read to children at the launch of a new literacy project - is to be published by the iconic Ladybird books.
Peter will put his name to a series of pre-school children's books about siblings Peter, Mike and Debbie - BUT although the ideas will be his, the books themselves will be ghost-written (just like his ex Katie Price's books).
The publishers don't seem to bothered that Pete will not be slaving over the typewriter himself, describing him as having a 'passion' for fatherhood, telling reporters: "We're looking forward to our collaboration with Peter Andre and Can Associates. Peter has such a passion for being a dad, and mums and dads everywhere will be able to relate to the experiences and stories he's told us for these books."
The series will launch in September, priced at £4.99 each.
What we REALLY want is Boris to launch a range of kids' books - just LOOK at his enthusiasm for the Gruffalo!
Will you be buying Peter's books for your children?
