You're probably wondering where the first half of 2011 went, but yup, it's that time of year again: Wimbledon is upon us! And to celebrate the 125th anniversary of the famed tennis tournament, Ralph Lauren as the official outfitters of the tournament - designing uniforms for all on-court officials, including umpires and ball persons.

This year's polo shirts are inspired by "the elegance and sophisticated heritage of English tennis," and feature a striking purple and green sash across the body (reflecting the traditional colours of the Championships) with a 125th anniversary logo and an anniversary crest.

"Wimbledon is a premiere sporting event and we are honoured to be part of such a long-standing tradition in the history of tennis," says David Lauren, Executive Vice President of Advertising, Marketing and Corporate Communications.

And it doesn't stop at the ball boy and girl uniforms, there's a whole selection of stylish sporting wear on offer - including jackets, dresses and blazers.

The Polo Ralph Lauren Wimbledon Collection is available to buy at select Ralph Lauren stores, and online at ralphlauren.com.

But the best part? The partnership is set to continue until 2015 - which means we've got four more years of super-stylish court-side attendees to look forward to...
