Why is Clinton getting so much face time? Isn't he the man who gave us NAFTA, DADT, and the waste of a good cigar?

1. Because he's been making high-profile speeches lately. And what he's been saying about the economy are things that are correct, but are being ignored by much of the media.

2. He didn't exactly give you NAFTA. It was a Reagan policy, and Clinton got more worker protections in it before signing it. The bottom line is free trade is here to stay and would have happened with or without Clinton. The goal should be to make it fair trade.

3. Look up the back story of DADT. It was a compromise because Congressional Republicans and Democrats were about to ram through a complete ban on gays in the military.

4. A cigar joke? Lame. Come up with something new...

1. So has Rumsfeld and both have equal credibility. 2. He didn't oppose NAFTA either and went on the circuit to sell it to the public. Many countries protect their workers with high tariffs on emported goods; too bad the US isn't one of them. 3. Another opportunity for Clinton to be a "stand up" president that was ruined because he had to spend so much of his time on attacks brought on by his dalliance with Monica. 4. Have you priced cigars lately? For the same amount of money, he could have indulged himself without worrying about the blowback..... (is that less lame?_
