Thousands of adoring fans turned out to say a final goodbye to the stars of Britain's most successful ever film franchise at tonight's world premiere of Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows Part 2.
The fans had braved the rain to see their idols in Trafalgar Square, London. Right on cue, the weather cleared and the sun began to shine as the cast, who count many of the best of British big screen talent among their number, began their three-hour tour of the red carpet.
