It feels like only yesterday that newlyweds Kate and Wills were boarding a plane for North America but yesterday was actually the pair's final day on the continent.

To mark the last leg of their tour, the royals visited Inner City Arts - an initiative that provides children from Los Angeles' poorest neighbourhoods with opportunities for learning and creativity.

Kate protected her Whistles outfit - a blue and white crochet top and white pleated skirt - with an apron and got stuck in with activities such as painting and ceramics. Her red snail was particularly impressive.

But is it art? Photo: PA

The royal pair then left their mark on the project - literally - by creating a ceramic handprint tile to commemorate the occasion!
