Was Seinfeld The Inspiration Behind Beckhams' Name For Baby Daughter?

The Beckhams have always kept their fans on their toes with names they have given to their children.

Their eldest son Brooklyn is generally believed to have been named after the New York district where he was conceived, following David Beckham's bashful retreat from the World Cup after he was red-carded in 1998.

Their second son is Romeo - apparently his parents have always "just liked the name".

Cruz was born following the couple's move to California, prompting onlookers to believe David Beckham was paying tribute to his Hollywood pal and training partner Tom Cruise. Beckham has never been known for his attention to spelling, particularly after one of his tattoos, his wife's name, he proudly described as being written in "Hindu".

And now they have the daughter they've always craved to complete the family. The jury's out on whether little Harper is named after Harper's Bazaar, one of Victoria's regular style bibles, or the author of To Kill A Mocking Bird, Harper Lee. The truth may prove a let-down, once again, it appears the designer has just "always liked the name".

But Seven...? You heard it first on Seinfeld, way back in 1996, from the mouth of the ever-inspirational George. Could this have subliminally entered the Beckhams' subconscious? They've always said they like nothing better than curling up and watching the TV... Watch the clip and decide for yourself...
