UK Aid To Help 70,000 Starving Children In African Droughts

19/07/2011 11:46 | Updated 22 May 2015

£52 million of aid is heading to Somalia, Ethiopia and Kenya to help provide food and clean drinking water to the 10 million adults and children caught in the worst drought for 60 years.

It is thought there are 70,000 malnourished children suffering in the drought, and the aid will go towards these children and their parents in the worst hit areas. But more donations are urgently needed. To donate, visit Savethechildren.org.uk.
