www.mydaily.co.uk:

Kate Middleton's wedding dress, wedding shoes, tiara and even her (and Prince William's) wedding cake will be on show to the public at Buckingham Palace from 23 July until 3 October.

The eagerly anticipated display will allow visitors to get a closer look at the gown, designed by Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen, as well as the bridal accessories during the palace's annual summer opening (although, sadly, there will be no option to try the dress on yourself).

Hammer House of Horror presents: The Haunted Dress.
07:05 PM on 07/24/2011
the queen commented it was horrid when she saw it. and now that i seen the pictures, it does look like she was right. the whole thing looked like a ghost and a headless one at that. haha.
why they dont put a spotlight on it so it can be seen properly i cannot imagine. after all, from what i gather it is the details that make it so unique. in that dim light and so far away, no one can see the details. hope they will put it in a glass case and allow people to go up close to it, though that would limit the numbers who can see it at any one time and that wont do i suppose.
at the very least, they should show the veil separately from the dress so that it does not look headless.
