Josh Groban On Crazy, Stupid, Love Co-Star Emma Stone: She's A 'Total Pro' At Kissing

Josh Groban: Emma Stone Is A 'Total Pro' At Kissing

PRESS ASSOCIATION -- Emma Stone is a "total pro" in kissing scenes, her Crazy, Stupid, Love co-star Josh Groban has revealed.

The US singer makes his debut film role playing Emma's boyfriend in the new comedy, and Josh said his leading lady put him at ease on set.

"At the end of one of our scenes the directors came up to us and said, 'You know, this is feeling a little goofy. Let's just try to make this more believable with a kiss at the end'," Josh told US GQ.

"And I'm thinking... 'That wasn't in the script. I've never kissed on camera before. What does that mean? What do I have to do? I didn't take that class in college.' And Emma's just this total pro.

"She pulls out her lip-gloss, and says, 'It's cherry. That cool with you?' I mean, that kiss shall forever be... my moment alone, no one will ever be able to treasure it but me."

The pair's kissing scene failed to make the final cut of the film - but Josh reckons it may make it onto the DVD extras.

"Most likely the blooper rejavascript:void(0);el," he quipped.

Josh's character in the star-studded film - which also features Steve Carell, Ryan Gosling and Julianne Moore - is Richard, a sleazy, geeky lawyer.

"I went in for the audition and after one reading the casting director said, 'Oh my god, you're just perfect.' I was really excited for a moment, then it dawned on me: I just nailed the douchebag character," he added.
