Pamela Anderson For Celeb Big Brother?

PRESS ASSOCIATION -- Pamela Anderson is reportedly set to star in this year's Big Brother.

The reality TV show is relaunching on Channel 5 in mid-August with celebrities entering the house for the first few weeks to kick it off.

Baywatch babe Pammie is on the brink of signing up, according to The Daily Star.

She is reported to have said: "I am very excited about the show. I will just be myself and have fun with the contestants in the house."

The 44-year-old actress has already appeared in Australian Big Brother in 2008 and last year entered the Indian version of the show Big Boss for three days.

Meanwhile, the Sun reports Irish traveller Paddy Doherty, who has won fame after appearing on My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding and Danny Dyer's Deadliest Men is also set to enter the Big Brother house.

Reality TV stars Kerry Katona and Amy Childs are among the other celebrities expected to enter the house.

Amy is said to have quit hit show The Only Way Is Essex to take part in Big Brother.

Her co-star Kirk Norcross revealed at the premiere of new thriller The Devil's Double: "I thought she was proud to be from Essex, so I'm sticking with the show. But get me in Big Brother - it'll be brilliant as well."

The new version of the show will be hosted by Ultimate Big Brother winner Brian Dowling.

Emma Willis, who presented the original spin-off show Big Brother's Little Brother, will present the new spin-off Big Brother's Bit On The Side.
