Shock Frock: Nicki Minaj Performs In New York

While the rest of the world preoccupies itself with what singer Nicki Minaj's outfit failed to cover during her performance in New York's Central Park yesterday, we're keeping our focus firmly on the ensemble itself.

Where to start? How about with the blonde frizz that makes her look as though she's stuck her finger in an electric socket? Or the plastic pink jacket and the skirt that looks like she's hired Gok Wan to fashion her something from an old-school umbrella?

We're all for originality, but this outfit, with its mishmash of candy colours and the tiny top that failed to keep things PG, is something even Lady Gaga would have trouble pulling off.
