PRESS ASSOCIATION -- Jane Horrocks has revealed more about her guest role in new comedy This Is Jinsy.
The Absolutely Fabulous actress is among the many impressive names to sign up for a cameo in the Sky Atlantic comedy, the first from writing and acting duo Chris Bran and Justin Chubb.
"It's very, very amusing, it's Monty Python-esque surreal humour, set on this island called Jinsy, a bit like Guernsey," said the actress, who also stars in new Sky1HD comedy Trollied.
She described the duo as "wonderful guys" and added: "It's just off-the-wall and unusual in a Mighty Boosh sort of way, with mad characters. It was really great to play an eccentric character, very different to Trollied."
This Is Jinsy, which is set to begin in September, is directed by Psychoville's Matt Lipsey and also features Catherine Tate, Harry Hill and Kevin Eldon among its guest stars.
