Mike Myers Set For Fourth Austin Powers Film

Eww, Baby! Mike Myers Set For A Fourth Austin Powers - Is This A Good Thing?

PRESS ASSOCIATION -- Mike Myers has reportedly signed up to star in Austin Powers 4.

The 48-year-old actor and comedian - who last appeared as the free-loving British spoof spy in Austin Powers 3: Goldmember in 2002 - has "closed a deal" to reprise the role, movie blog Hitfix.com reports.

Myers - who is due to become a father for the first time with second wife Kelly Tisdale - had a cameo as a British general in Quentin Tarantino's Inglorious Basterds in 2009 and reprised the voice of Shrek in Shrek Forever After last year, but has not been seen starring in a live action film leading role since 2008 flop comedy The Love Guru.

There have been rumours of a Dr Evil spin-off movie in the past, but this is the first confirmation of another Austin Powers instalment, although no further details are known.

Myers starred as outrageous spy Powers and his nemisis Dr Evil in the first three films, which made 676 million dollars at the global box office.
