Jedward are the first confirmed contestants on this year's edition of Celebrity Big Brother.

Their long-rumoured entry into the house was confirmed by their manager Louis Walsh on the red carpet at the launch of this year's X Factor at the 02 in London.

Walsh said, "It's a great move. They're getting paid a lot of money for it and everyone loves them."

Other names touted for the Big Brother house include Amy Childs, Pamela Anderson, Kerry Katona and her mother Sue.
