Daniel Craig, Starring In 'Cowboys And Aliens', Happy With Heartthrob Status

'Skinny Killer Cowboy' Daniel Craig Happy With His Heartthrob Status

PRESS ASSOCIATION -- Daniel Craig has revealed he feels quite comfortable with being a screen hunk.

The Bond star, who got to show off his impressive physique in tight-fitting chaps and unbuttoned tops in Cowboys And Aliens, said he doesn't mind those close-up shots.

"I wasn't operating the camera - you'd have to ask the cameraman about that," he said.

The actor definitely put in some hard work to hone and tone his body for the action role, which sees him playing a cowboy alongside Harrison Ford.

"I genuinely don't think about it. It is what it is," he continued.

"I try to get in shape for the movies because I like it, and because I thought we should have a skinny cowboy who looked in shape because he should look like a killer."

But while he has carved out a career as an action hero, he admitted leaving the more elaborate stunts to the pros.

"A lot of what you see is my brilliant double and stuntmen. We also had a bunch of wranglers and cowboys who helped me look good in the saddle," Daniel added.
