Lady Gaga Married To Loneliness: 'I Would Die Without My Work'

Lady Gaga: 'I Would Die Without My Work'

PRESS ASSOCIATION -- Lady Gaga has said she is "married to loneliness" because she puts her work before everything.

The 25-year-old Born This Way star appeared on the chat show India's Most Desirable on Star One where host Simi Garewal asked her if touring made her lonely.

Gaga, who's touring India next month, said: "Yes, but I am supposed to be, I am an artist.

"We wallow in loneliness and solitude our whole lives in search of the answer to hundreds and millions of questions that run through my mind. Yes I'm lonely, but I'm married to my loneliness."

The Paparazzi singer said she would always choose her work over fame, adding: "I would die without it and I could never be reborn."

Lady Gaga revealed her biggest fear is running out of time to finish her work.

She said: "I am afraid of missing out on a creative idea because of lack of time. I would die without my work. I'm reborn every time with my new song and new album."

The singer also denied reports she had refused to do a concert in India because of a financial dispute, insisting money was not important to her.

She said: "I don't have money - whatever I have I spend on my shows."
