Full-Time Carer Becomes Instant Millionaire On Simon Cowell's Show

PRESS ASSOCIATION -- A full-time carer has become game show Red Or Black?'s second millionaire in as many days.

Kevin Cartwright, 44, scooped the prize on the second night of the roulette-themed show, which debuted on ITV1 on Saturday.

Afterwards he said, "I am in complete shock, I still can't believe it just happened.

"I watched the ball land on the black and I thought that was it. I couldn't focus, I thought I was in a dream, I'm shocked."

He added: "The icing on the cake was when Simon Cowell came up to us on stage and congratulated me and said that I had him on the edge of my seat the way that ball was spinning.

Mr Cartwright correctly guessed the right outcome in ten different rounds throughout the show hosted by Ant and Dec.

The game show debuted on Saturday achieving a peak audience of 8.1 million, or 37% of viewers.

In the first episode, Nathan Hageman became the first person to win £1 million by picking red.
