VIDEOS: Suit You, Sir! ‘The Fast Show' Creator Confirms Its Revival

Suit you, sir! Yes, The Fast Show is returning for another series, according to creator Charlie Higson.

The stars of the catchphrase-heavy hit have momentarily paused from saying "Well...I wouldn't know about that sort of thing now", to take to Twitter and announce details of the comeback.

Confirming the reunion on Twitter Higson said: “A lot of you have been asking if we will be bringing The Fast Show back... the answer is yes."

Original cast member Simon Day announced he would be reviving his comic characters Dave Angel, Billy Bleach and Competitive Dad, adding that he was looking forward to seeing Paul Whitehouse’s Ron Manager again.

He continued: "It has all been hush hush. Paul and Charlie will be bossing us about as usual, and I will still be funny, but fat and balder."

All of the other central performers in the '90s sketch show will return including John Thomson, Arabella Weir and Royle Family creator Caroline Aherne with the exception of Mark Williams, who is now best known as Ron Weasley's Dad in the Harry Potter films.

The comedy, which ran on BBC Two between 1994 and 1997, will be revived as an online series, sponsored by Fosters, on November 14.
