Conjoined twins have been separated after a six hour operation.
An An and Xin Xin were born in April with connected livers and hearts. During the operation at Shanghai Children's Medical Centre, the twins had their organs split, ribs reshaped and chests rebuilt with titanium-alloy plates.
Both babies are said to be in a stable condition after the operation.
