A verdict is expected on Thursday in the case of British fashion designer John Galliano who has been on trial accused of racially abusing a couple in public at a Paris restaurant.
Mr Galliano apologised for his behaviour at a one-day trial in Paris in June, blaming drug and alcohol addictions for his outburst.
