She said last week she was leaving the naming of her third baby to her daughter Phoenix Chi, and if the latest stories are to be believed, Mel B's eldest girl has chosen well.
E! News reports that Mel and husband Stephen Belafonte's new baby has been named Madison Brown Belafonte, which is a bit more low key than either Phoenix Chi, 11, or four-year -old Angel Iris's monikers.
Mel tweeted baby Madison's arrival last week, saying that Stephen 'nearly passed out' and Phoenix screamed - whilst she 'laughed so hard the baby popped out'.
She subsequently took to Twitter to say that Phoenix was going to choose the baby's name, but was taking her time over it!
Well if the new baby is indeed Madison Brown Belafonte, we think Phoenix has made a good choice - don't you? Or do you think it's a bit too Americanised for a girl from Leeds?
