Fashion stylist to the stars Rachel Zoe has admitted she cried for a week when she was told she was pregnant with a boy, not a girl.
Rachel, who is now mum to Skyler, five months, confessed she was disappointed when she discovered she was having a son, not a daughter during an episode of her reality show, which was filmed while she was still pregnant.
'I always had this plan in my mind that I was gonna have this little baby girl,' explained Rachel. 'I found out I was having a boy, and I did cry for a week. Or two. Maybe even three.'
But it seems despite not having a little lady to dress in fancy frocks and designer shoes, Rachel is still trying to work her stylist magic on Skyler, saying she could dress him up like his dad, Rodger, referring to her son as a 'doll.'
The episode was aired days after she appeared with Skyler and husband, Rodger on an episode of Live with Regis and Kelly in the States, where she spoke about not feeling ready for a child until right before Skyler made his arrival:
'I think as a lot of working mums say it's very hard to wake up one morning and say 'OK, I'm ready.'
'But all of a sudden you wake up and say 'I need to be ready' and I wasn't even ready until he was born and then the second he was born I was so blind, I was like how did I survive, what is life without this child?'
