Think you know who the highest paid men in the entertainment world are? Think again. Forbes has released their list detailing the Highest Paid Men In Entertainment and neither director Steven Spielberg nor TV supremo Simon Cowell are number one.

Surprisingly, Hollywood’s most prolific actors aren’t the ones bringing home the most cash, in fact Johnny Depp and Brad Pitt aren’t even in the top 10.

The fact that Tyler Perry used to live in his car to now making more money than Simon Cowell, Elton John and Mr. E.T. is astounding!!

Say what you will about his plays and TV shows (I'm partially a fan but won't subject myself to his TV shows) but he's appealing to a lot of people that are hungry for his creativity and willing to pay for it.

I agree with you on Tiger but no Dr. Phil. He has his own TV show, he cameos in movies and TV series so yes, he's an entertainer.

The moment you take your profession onto TV you're more or less an "entertainer". Maybe not an entertainer like Elton John but by today's standards even the term "celebrity" isn't what it used to be.

Tom Cruise, Will Smith and Bruce Willis are celebrities but so is Paris Hilton, Kate Gossling and the Octomom.
