Catwalk Review: Bora Aksu Spring/Summer 2012

16/09/2011 18:21 | Updated 22 May 2015

WHO? Bora Aksu

IN A NUTSHELL: Edwardian ladies' undergarments with plenty of lace, corsetry and ice cream tones.

BEG, BORROW OR STEAL: The ruffled floor-skimming hobble skirt was worth it if only for the satisfying swishing sound it made as it glided down the runway - and paired with sheer chiffon button-up shirt, it looked very elegant indeed.

THE F-ROW: Harold Tilman, Hilary Alexander and Nicola Roberts.

VERDICT: Bora Aksu's couture-like attention to detail remained, but things felt a little hectic, especially when paired with the panelled fishnet tights. Still, there were some killer pieces - just maybe don't style them all together...
