WHO?: PPQ

IN A NUTSHELL: A wealthy Dallas muse inspired Percy Parker and Amy Molyneux for Spring/Summer 2012. Filtered through PPQ's cute/kitsch tinted spectacles, this meant logo-tastic double denim embellished with plenty of gold Ps & Qs and thigh-skimming party frocks in a pale candy palette.

BEG, BORROW OR STEAL: PPQ is a party label - so it follows that the party frocks rule the roost. We loved the dropped waist shirt dress in powdery pink (tres Chung) and the silk printed scoop-necked dress, which incidentally was worn by Ms Molyneux at the PPQ after-party. There were also some covetable denim pieces, courtesy of PPQ's collaboration with Lee Jeans. Although a word of caution: when worn together you could risk looking like an un-ironic Jessica Simpson.

THE F-ROW: Peaches Geldof, Erin O'Connor, Lydia Bright (aka a very mixed bag).

VERDICT: While PPQ still feels like a new London name this season actually marks the label's 10th birthday. The prolific uses of Ps and Qs marked the end of a triumphant decade (no mean feat in the fickle fashion industry). And when it came to the birthday catwalk, Percy and Amy did what they do best - tongue-in-cheek hip for London's party scene.
