The daughter of one of the men killed in the mining tragedy that has touched the nation has paid a moving tribute to her father, saying: "I love and miss you forever".
Phillip Hill's daughter Kyla left a bouquet of flowers with a card containing a poignant message close to the mine where the bodies of her father and three fellow miners were found after they became trapped underground.
On the card, she wrote: "Hi dad, I love and miss you forever. Love you all the money in the world and America. From Kyla x"
Her tribute came as safety experts holding an investigation into the circumstances promised that any lessons learned from the tragedy would be put into effect.
Kyla was comforted by other family members as they paused for reflection at the spot where dozens of people have left flowers and tributes to the four dead miners.
The bodies of Mr Hill, Charles Breslin, David Powell - known to friends and family as "Dai Bull" - and Garry Jenkins were discovered at the Gleision Colliery on Friday, dashing desperate hopes that they might be found alive.
It emerged on Saturday that Mr Jenkins, 39, from the Swansea Valley, was the first to be found by emergency services, followed by Mr Powell, 50, from the Swansea Valley, Mr Hill, 45, from Neath, and Mr Breslin, 62, from the Swansea Valley.
Messages of support poured in from around the world, with well-wishers everywhere praying for some good news until the final death was announced.
Earlier on Saturday, Neath MP Peter Hain launched the Swansea Valley Miners Appeal Fund and urged the public to make donations.
He said: "This tragedy is a stab through the heart of the community. We can't even imagine what the families are going through. But they need our help to survive and recover in the future. Please give what you can to support the families."
