Simon Cowell is secretly planning to open X Factor - The Musical at a West End theatre to bring another huge cash injection to his showbiz empire.
The brand already includes the TV show alongside lucrative tours, records and merchandising and a hit musical could see the mogul bank millions more pounds.
Simon, 51, has already held talks with TV comedian Harry Hill and a top music producer to put together a humorous script which will appeal to the show’s millions of fans.
