The backstage area at Daks is busy, but wonderfully calm. To create the look for the show, skin was perfected with Mac face and body foundation, super minimal coverage that kept the rosiness of the cheeks.

Mac Select Moisture Cover Concealer applied only where necessary, and Mac Prep + Prime Finishing Powder to control shine on T-zone.

Eyelids were covered with a wash of Mac Paintpot in Constructivist and Mac Powerpoint Eye Pencil in Stubborn Brown was smudged all around the eyes. Powerpoint Eye Pencil in Engraved was buffed on with a brush in between the lashes and black mascara was brushed onto the roots to give enhanced definition.

Cheek bones were contoured with Mac Sculpting Powder in Sculpt. Finally, lips were stained with Mac Viva Glam III lipstick.

The inspiration for the look was taken from 40's black and white photos of a young judy garland.

Structured skin reminiscent of the 40's era to make it look like the girls were wearing no make up.
