OK - so not all lost. The Siri addition looks genuinely incredible. We'll have to wait and see how it works day-to-day. Assembled journalists looking around hoping there will be a goody bag at the end.

Siri has map integration. You can even ask it hands-free to read your messages... Obviously, not when your girlfriend's in the room.
"How is the NASDQ doing today?" Followed by full answer. This might be the future.
Forstall on stage - this Siri addition might just save the day. The presenter is asking abstract questions and the phone is answering. "What time is it in Paris?" Followed by answer.
Get to Siri by holding down the home button. Hold on - this might be "awesome" (that's 24). It's like talking to Hal in 2001.
Voice control - Siri: "Your intelligent assistant that helps you get things done by asking".
Video recorder - 4S takes 1080p high definition video. Also, video image stabilisation. Presenter is showing some fairly sharp video footage of a hot air balloon. Not the only hot air we've been subjected to this evening...

Camera system - iPhone 4 already the most popular camera for posting snaps on Flickr.
Wireless - switches between two antennas to transmit and receive. Better call quality apparently.

Hold on - the iPhone 4S. New A5 chip (same as iPad 2) in the iPhone 4S. Around x7 faster, especially good for games.
iPod Touch, available in black and white, shipping with iOS5 $129 for the 8GB. The Nano (2GB) will be $49. No work on prices in sterling.

New clock faces app for Nano users who wear their device as a timepiece. Speaking of which, time they cracked on with the main event...
