The Apple iPad, iPod, Apple II, iTunes and the ubiquitous iPhone are just a few of the top ten inventions that Apple co-founder Steve Jobs brought us.

Despite having no formal design training, Jobs put aesthetics and industrial design at the centre of every product his company made.

As his tenure on this earth came to an end, Jobs was listed as the inventor or co-inventor on more than 300 U.S. patents.
