Actors Dressed As Zombies Confuse Paramedics After On-Set Accident

Among the many problems zombies have to worry about, sustaining further injuries is not usually one of them.

It's when you're only dressed as a zombie that things get tricky - as 16 actors found out on the set of the new Resident Evil movie on Tuesday.

Paramedics responded to a call from Cinespace Film Studios in Toronto, Canada, after the actors fell from a platform.

But when they arrived the zombie makeup worn by the actors made it appear that something much more serious had taken place.

"I could see the look on the first paramedic, saying 'Oh my God,'" Toronto emergency medical services Commander David Ralph told the Associated Press.

The actors suffered leg, back and arm injuries, but although they were taken to hospital the injuries were not considered life threatening.

Police Constable Tony Vella said the actors fell into the gap between two moving platforms.

Vella said that the incident was being treated as an industrial accident and will be treated by Canada's Ministry of Labor.
