A Tiger has given birth to rare quadruplets in the Shandong Province of China, with one of her four children coloured white.

The Bengal Tiger Mother, called 'La-La' can be seen protectively guarding her 51-day-old cubs, as they inquisitively investigate photographers.

Not to be confused with Siberian Tigers, whose winter coats are very pale, white tigers tend to be larger both at birth and as they grow older.

Bengal Tigers are already an endangered species, making those babies who possess the white recessive gene even rarer.
