Amy Winehouse's Report Sent By Police To Wrong House

Police have admitted that there was a mix-up ahead of the inquest into the death of soul diva Amy Winehouse.

Scotland Yard said on Monday that "material relating to a forthcoming inquest" into Winehouse's death was delivered to the wrong address. It was in fact meant to be dispatched to the star's family.

The force declined to elaborate on the nature of the material but said it has been recovered. Inquiries are ongoing into how it ended up in the wrong place.

The inquest into Winehouse's death today ruled a verdict of death by misadventure.

The 27-year-old Back To Black singer was found dead at her home in Camden, north London, on 23 July, following years of alcohol and drug addiction.
