Mel B is reportedly furious with her former husband Jimmy Gulzar for allegedly holding their 12-year-old daughter, Phoenix Chi, captive.
The Mirror reports that Gulzar, 42, is now the subject of a battery complaint filed by his daughter.
Phoenix reportedly claims she feared for her safety after her dad grabbed her arm and refused to let her leave his LA home during a custody visit.
Sources close to Mel B, 36, claim Phoenix was so scared she even considered escaping over the balcony. The drama only came to an end after Stephen Belafonte – Mel's current husband - called the police after arriving to take Phoenix home.
Mel is said to be "disgusted and appalled" by the events that happened on October 10.
The Police are said to have taken a full statement from Phoenix and will also speak to Mel about the incident.
