Well this is one of the more unusual fashion-collaborations we've heard in a while: Diane von Furstenberg is teaming up with dating website Match.com to offer stye tips to singletons.
With a list of famous fans as long as our arm - including Sarah Jessica Parker and Duchess Kate, to name but a few - Diane is putting her inimitable styling sense to good use, in her quest to help those unlucky in love.
The designer is hosting several fashion workshops in selected DVF boutiques, where she'll be demonstrating her top outfit suggestions for three different first date scenarios: grabbing a coffee, going out for dinner, or enjoying cocktail hour.
Sadly for us UK-based fashion fans, the workshops are taking place Stateside - in New York this evening, and Dallas and Miami on 10 November - but on behalf of all the single ladies out there, we'd like to start a petition to bring the concept to us style-deprived Brits!
(We've actually all got boyfriends on the MyDaily desk - for now - but we're still intrigued. And would never say no to styling tips from Ms Von Furstenberg...)
