Scarlett Johansson Laughs Off Nude Photo Scandal - We Examine How Sex Tapes Are A Good Career Move

Celebrity Sex Tapes - A Good Career Move?

Scarlett Johansson has proved she's got some naked nerve, after laughing off her nude photo scandal.

The Lost In Translation star told Vogue: "It's not like I was shooting a porno", when asked about the saucy photos she sent to her former husband Ryan Reynolds.

The photos were stolen by a hacker and published online, and while many women would be mortified at the intrusion, the 26-year-old actress was upbeat about the incident. "I know my best angles," she joked.

Could it be that Johansson has realised nude pictures - particularly among the more glamorous - rarely damage a celebrity's career?

Having a sex tape you made with a former lover plastered all over the internet and the media might seem like the most embarrassing incident imaginable, but if you're even mildly famous it could set you on the path to more success.

History shows that sex tapes don't actually harm a celebrity's career. In fact, they often turn out to improve them.

When it comes to sex tapes it seems there really is no such thing as bad publicity.
