But, unfortunately, even cool chicks make mistakes on the red carpet.
And Uma most certainly had a fashion fail at the LACMA Film and Art Gala in Los Angeles this weekend.
The star turned heads (for all the wrong reasons) in an unflattering, oversized two-tone number that left her looking swamped ad frumpy.

Pretty makeup and an elegant updo went some way to righting the wrongs, but not far enough when the likes of Amy Adams, Emily Blunt were all wowing on the very same red carpet.
