The structured dress worn by Lady Gaga on the cover of Madame Figaro in 2001 will be the first of the superstar singer's dresses to ever come to public auction.

The Irina Shaposhnikova outfit is listed in the Julien's Auction online catalogue as "a blue metallic organza shift dress with an under armature that expresses geometric forms on the surface of the dress" and comes with a matching long-sleeved black cotton shirt.

The dress has an estimated worth of $10,000-$20,000 with a starting bid of $5,000 so if you're hoping to own a piece of pop fashion history, you'd better get saving - the auction starts in just 25 days!

Other items in the auction include a caricature by John Lennon, a George Harrison suit, a Cyndi Lauper dress and a Muhammed Ali robe.
